L’elemento semi-divino di Connie suscita la curiosità di Jack, che convincerà un vampiro molto antico a raccontare il suo passato di sacerdote Maya e le origini del vampirismo in America.
In questo romanzo il finale resta Pending disappointing, in part, the reader, who will have to wait for the next publication of the epilogue.
