Effects Of Blunt Wraps

Why "Tales From Topographic Oceans" Considerations

Why "Tales From Topographic Oceans"

"Tales from Topographic Oceans" is a monumental album of a band unique views of leading "progressive" British, Yes's "Tales" (the chiameò so for convenience) is the most famous and successful British quintet, but the concept is certainly more mysterious and, if desired, more evocative. Four "suite" make up the work published in 1973, in full explosion of progressive. Keep in mind that the 1973 is one of the best years for the genre: Pink Floyd released the monumental "The Dark Side of the Moon", the damage to the press the glorious Genesis "Selling England by the pound", to secure their best album (IMHO).
The Yes come up with this concept in atypical a musical context (not only) when the atypical is the norm. But criticism will not be lenient. Yet "Tales" is one of those albums that have marked my life.
Authentic electrocution was the first play of "The Revealing Science of God". A revelation, indeed. It was not just the music lasting impression in the mind but also the cover signed by absolute genius by the name of Roger Dean. Yes, because there is no other state in the history of music that has been able to so perfectly combine music and images. Often, the album is the stylistic exercises that poorly match with the music content.
Non vuole in pratica spiegare quali sono i fondamenti della disciplina (Philosophical Andreson, music for myself), "Tales" is a kind of abstract meditation, a body of observations sometimes unconnected, but which, taken together (lyrics and music), have instead a concrete reality. There is, therefore, a logic that combines words, music and images.
This apparent indeterminacy, which hides a real teeth, it is precisely the spirit with which to address this blog. My intention is to narrate over moods of facts. The news source from which one can never get away, it will simply be a means to express opinions and feelings in relation to certain case. "Tales from Topographic Oceans", for the meanings that the sottoscirtto had always ascribed, was the most appropriate title I could choose.
A title that does not want to be a "hook" for the curious sailor, but an introduction to the place where it will encounter. The ocean topography, abstract concept that does not find riscotro in empirical science, is only a means through which exceed the sphere of concrete through the power of thought.

Dawn of light lying in Between silence and sold sources, Chased amid fusions
of wonder, in moments seen Hardly Forgotten
Coloured in pastures of chance dancing leaves cast spells of challenge, Amused
But in real thought, we Fled from the sea whole .. .
