Bushnell 3200 Elite 10x40

Comus

I have vague memories of when this record came out (1971). The hallucinatory and disturbing the proceedings and cover a bit 'hasty (and rather wrong ...) that the seller hoped to vendemelo: "A little' King Crimson, a little 'Soft Machine". I do not trust him, even though the picture on the cover was attractive and repulsive at the same time. Once you bought the discs (also) for the cover, even before listening to them. Many years later, I happened to hear a few notes of this group, maybe a radio show, and I decided to buy the LP, but in the meantime had become impossible to find. Since then, I'm looking for, even the Ark was lost.
Not long ago, I learn that in 2005, Castle Music released a box set with the first (and only) two albums. It was not easy to get, but the Internet you can find almost everything.
Active in the early '70s, the Comus over the years have become a cult band. Also because of their very little commercial success, which they led to a dissolution after the first failure of the first album, and then, ricostituitisi with a slightly different training for a second album, melted (almost ...) definitively at the end of 1974.
The group was formed around the core duo consisting of guitarist Roger Wootton and Glenn Goring: Two students of "Ravensbourne College of Art in Bromley, Kent. Wootton and Goring started playing together in various folk clubs in 1967. The two join Chris Youl, who will become the future manager of the band, and Colin Pearson (violin).

• Roger Wootton - acoustic guitar, singing
• Glenn Goring - at 6 and 12 string guitar, electric guitar, slide, tambourine, singing
• Andy Hellaby - electric bass, fretless bass, hand
• Colin Pearson - violin, viola
• Rob Young - flute, oboe, tambourine
• Bobbie Watson - singing, percussion

The first listen to "First Utterance " is dazzling. Molto belli i due long tracks ("The Herald " with acoustic guitar arpeggios really valuable, and "Drip Drip "), but how can we forget " Diana " el'inquietante "Song To Comus ? Something of their seed, however, we find him in "Dead Can Dance " (but they too are gone ...) and the "Space Ritual " reincarnation of "Hawkwind .
few months after the release of the album, the commercial failure of that party, the group broke up for the loss of some components ( Glenn Goring , su tutti, ma anche il manager e co-fondatore Chris Youle ). Tre anni più tardi, con una formazione allargata e alquanto diversa, ci riprovano e incidono, per la Virgin “ To Keep From Crying ”.

• Roger Wootton - chitarra folk, canto
• Andy Hellaby - basso elettrico, basso fretless, canto
• Bobbie Watson - canto, percussioni
• Lindsay Cooper - oboe
• Philip Barry - drums
Caxon • Gordon - drums
• Didier Malherbe - saxophone
• Keith Hale - keyboards • Tim Kraemer
- cello

The result is quite disappointing, more if compared with the excellent debut. Glenn Goring is gone and with him went the darker atmospheres and arpeggios softer, his voice more and more acute Bobbie Watson has taken precedence over the more nuanced of Roger Wootton , ma soprattutto è scomparso quel filo conduttore che fa di un lavoro ordinario un capolavoro unico.

•    tre brani di un mini-LP uscito prima di First Utterance ;
•    un inedito dell’epoca (“ All The Colours Of Darkness ”, pregevolissimo);

• Roger Wootton - chitarra, canto
• Glenn Goring - chitarra a 6 e a 12 corde, bongos
• Andy Hellaby - basso
• Colin Pearson - violino, viola
• Bobbie Watson - canto, percussioni
• Jon Seagroatt – flauto, percussioni

Comus plays again!

Lacrosse Visors Oakley

go here, go Jónsi

Jón Thor Birgisson (Jónsi ) is singer and guitarist of the Icelandic group Sigur Rós . In 2010 released his first record by "only" with the collaboration of other musicians such as Alex Somers, with whom he created the recent " Riceboy Sleeps" (we have already spoken: http://ranierus. blogspot.com/2009/11/jonsi-alex-riceboy-sleeps.html ) Nico Muhle , American composer and pianist, who has to his credit artistic collaborations with Björk and Philip Glass; Samuli Kosminen , Finnish percussionist.
The album is called " go," due out in March (specifically 22) in 2010 and found the link below to download a song (" lilikoi boy").
It feels more the mark of Sigur Rós, from the album with Alex Somers, very listenable and, as always when it comes to the Icelandic group, you can feel the atmosphere "unique".

Enjoy ...

When Does The Mucus Come During Ovulation

III

Two words on the cover: designed by Anne Marie Anderson, is an icon of rock and 70's shows, in fact, a land (half?) In pink and gray. In my opinion, has given more of an inspiration to director Peter Jackson in the implementation of the scenery of the land of Hobbitt for the film "The Lord of the Rings."
Returning to the suite "Nine Feet Underground", it is probably the intuition of the producer David Hitchcock cast in this form of different songs recorded by the band. The result is a listening experience this unique is: all the Canterbury sound in it, but not limited to, echoes ranging from Gentle Giant to the Colosseum, from Robert Wyatt to Genesis, through the Pink Floyd. And with each listen you discover an influence, a quote, as a preview of something that came later. Needless to say, after this record, the Caravan never reached, even remotely, the heights attained in this work. Moreover, David Sinclair will go away shortly after the release of the disc to reach Wyatt ( Matching Mole), and later Richard Sinclair leave the convoy to set up " Hatfield & The North, "a sort of re-styling of the Caravan.

The version you can download has been remastered from Decca / Dram in digital in 2001 with the addition of previously unreleased material, alternate versions, different instrumental or with lyrics.

Predator Mask Richmond Va

Caravanserai Caravanserai Caravansary II

But the recordings were suspended after a few weeks to allow the group to comply with numerous contracts for live performances in England and the rest of Europe. On these occasions Caravan band shared the stage with some very prestigious as Pink Floyd, Yes , Nice , Colosseum, Soft Machine . Some swear they have seen their " jam-session" (as it was once) with Frank Zappa on guitar. They resumed work only in the Tangerine Studios in February of '70 to complete their second album, " If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd It All Over You," which was released in September 1970. The title plays on the double sense that it takes the expression "to do all over" in two senses mentioned in the title.
As expected, the group reached full artistic maturity, so that the disk has been called "one of the first manuals of the rock of Canterbury." Perfectly balanced between psychedelia and "progressive " how to succeed, the Caravan , to dilute the more progressive aspects of their music (the long suite, for example) with moments of real psychedelia, creating in turn a distinctive kind and very personal. Fine all the tracks of the album, with a special mention for the two suites, really exciting especially when the attacchi di David Sinclair all'organo.

Sample Contract To Sell Used Car

I

The band of "Caravan "belongs to what we, old lovers of music know as" school of Canterbury. "What is meant by this term? First of Canterbury is one of the oldest cities in England. The components of this semi-legendary group that never recorded an album, formed the core of both teams that have a symbol are the two extremes of the "Canterbury scene": one is the jazz of Soft Machine, from 'the other side more "psychedelic", the lightest of the Caravan. The Caravan
record their first album (Caravan) in October 1968 in London, is also the first record of a British group for the American label of Frank Zappa, The Verve.
The songs are light melodies with many influences late-beat and other (Brian Auger, Moody Blues, Syd Barrett).

Track Listing

   2. "Ride" – 3:41
   3. "Policeman" – 2:45
   4. "Love Song with Flute" – 4:09
   5. "Cecil Rons" – 4:05

   2. "Grandma's Lawn" – 3:23

Linse Christiansen Freeones

Latito

It 's true, is undeniable.
I'm neglecting the blog. And a blog is not updated as much.

Patience, my justification I can say that I prefer to devote this space when I really want to. Today I have.

This week has seen us working on several fronts, not least the meeting at the end of the tour.
You roll a bit 'sums and compares with the previous year, it was decided that operations continue, and as close to the setting you want to give the association.

things grow. Even seeds Smile. On the one hand I'm sorry, not so much a factor selfish, but because they acquire a larger size, some projects, the most challenging, are a bit 'depersonalized. On the other hand, a large project often are great resources and it is unthinkable that a person be in charge of tasks too onerous.

I have gained a little project (actually 2 but to a counterparty Mozambique has evaporated, if he comes back, we shall see) the basic nature but involves the formation of new rangers (training and work) for a proposed register of species in the Quirimbas Park.
a greater awareness of their assets may stop the massacre and perhaps enable a more sensitive tourism in the region appreciate these values and bring a bit 'of wealth in the pockets of the population (tourism manager)

Buffo. As a child I wanted to do the ranger, ranger now help to form. I am reminded of Pausch and his lecture "realize the dreams of childhood." In fact I feel better now :-)

How To Build Railway Sleeper Wall

It works very well. What you see is up a fraction of the strings used dsai poachers seized last year in a small part of the park manned by a South African who has hired an army of forty former poachers to keep open 100 km of roads (try it in a forest Tropical :-)) and to clear the forest from the traps.
seems impossible but this is something moving and beautiful.

Hattori Kd For Sale 2010

Parco delle Quirimbas 1

Having concluded in record time appointments, we have given away a trip a bit 'outside the box.
In particular, thanks to Luca, biology, the scientific side of the association, we visited some places in the park of the Quirimbas.
The Quirimbas Islands are spectacular and I have already mentioned that I will talk more. If you are planning landscapes "Out of Africa" style go there before it's too late. I do not know what impact tourism has on them, but now they are almost untouched, if you avoid the major.
are the islands, I said, but in reality, the park that includes extending into the mainland. In this way they defend themselves, or rather should be protected, different ecosystems and integrated.
Luke specializes in ornithology and leads a very special study on the populations of the African sky. I like that he was speaking in a post.
The problem is that there is a researcher from living in the bush and turns Back hunter, collector. Mosquitoes, leeches, horse flies, heat, cold does not touch it. I
yes :-) But other than that, thanks to him I saw places I never dreamed of seeing and Mozambique hidden to tourists.
Forget the pre-South African safari, here you have to sweat it out to see the animals, if it was to find them. In return, however, see what I saw the dr. Livingstone at the time were that: a wonderfully primitive earth, with smells, colors and spaces that we Europeans are already pre-history.

How Much Does Plan B Cost A Walmart

Riflessioni

I returned.

I took a few days before posting anything more than anything else to metabolize it.

France this year was a trip a bit 'different.
For the first time I've spent more time to turn off the city to devote to the activities of the association. In part because Mozambique is a country of breathtaking beauty and partly because the things I resolved to do with Swiss precision.
For the first time, made an appointment, did not intervene discomfort. Everything was done on time and in the manner agreed. What thrilled me to leave: to see that something is changing.

Indeed something has changed. For example, there are cars everywhere. Last year was a rarity, not today. All
turn her cell phone. Last year was a status that few had. We still lack adequate coverage by the number of users, but we will (try to call between 17 and 22. Can not, busy network)
Finally, it's wifi, the bandwidth is very small but there. Next year will probably be up to speed and maybe I can keep faith initial idea to post the daily diary of the trip. This time it was impossible :-)
An incredible boost. What will I do not know, but the change is likely to change the IN OUT.

puzzle me two things: first, the average wage has not increased significantly. How do they pay a mobile phone two months' salary and to live is still not clear. Second, came the hard drugs in the city. Both things do not bode well.
are now 4 am, in Pemba, this was the time of awakening, I hope to stay here. From the next post, a little 'detail.

Guy Masterbaits In Bus

In avvicinamento

Qatar, 6 in the morning.

The light is incredible and it is beautiful. On the other hand my 115 kg have not found a comfortable seat on designed for people with half my size. And this is not nice at all. Another thing, less beautiful, is that in all the Gulf countries I visited, the tendency is to fight the desert outside with an air temperature conditioning directly imported from the North Pole. The penguins here to light a fire to keep warm. My back thanks very much.

In two hours it's off to Nairobi and from there Pemba. Relying on the fact that there is only one hour to the transference, I filled in the hand luggage to blow up, probably will be my own clothes for the next 3 days but in Africa the look loses its importance :-).
'm not quite sure of being able to do an update soon, but we'll see.

not believe it but here in Qatar are crazy for swine flu, they all go around with masks (perhaps the idea of getting a disease carried by an unclean animal to terrorize).

I can not wait to get down below the equator Franz :-) I explained the program next week. If it's like he says will be an assault course :-) since the idea is to make a patrol of the park Quirimbas that although tourists are beautiful, turn them out of the canonical structures is a bit 'more challenging and return on Pemba will start a concentrated dance events. We'll see, now the priority is to roll back

Top 10 Epilators 2010

il mondo online e i preparativi

scratch away, just missing. The May 8

we go. It seemed very far away but now count the hours.
Of course now I'm desperate: a thousand little things that must be made to go quiet.

Last, but not least, the internet I bought a hammock a bit 'special: acts as a tent, if I understand it, it will be my personal house for a week. (I forgot, on eBay I found a spray that would make it even bugs free at the bottom. It seems, and I can testify that mosquitoes capable of passing through the canvas, so a little 'DDT to help keep them away. Needless to say, in this product is unavailable Italy)

For medicinal products that are serious about the pharmacy is great, antibiotics, steroid creams, painkillers, anti-diarrheal (that Africa is not only touches in a manner of speaking) patches, bandages and so on

Why all this? Why not understood, but if you happen to those parties do not call 118 but they arrange so better to have a little 'things that are not found in the bush.
So, what I forgot, I'll find out only when it is too late:-D

April 7. Today it is difficult to write. And I do not want to put photos.

This is a relatively small project as a financial commitment.
E 'huge for what it does.

Tomorrow I make forty years. The more I progress, I become more sensitive to children, perhaps because the excitement of a puppy that grows, not you the one champion who wins.

Latte. I know a few things like nursery. The milk is more than a food, is a bond between mother and child, is a passage of life. Or at least, this is the image.
In Mozambique, as in most of sub-Saharan Africa, the reality is a bit 'different. For a process that
I am not clear yet, HIV passes through the milk and infects the small ones.
should give life and brings death instead.

Powdered milk is a luxury in those parts, yet it is not expensive, for our parameters. Everything is relative, but for those children is not related at all, is essential.

This year, the project doubled. More healthy children, more hope that one day no longer need formula.

Menstruation Discharge

Numeri belli

Ok, this time staff is a little gloating.
Foreword, the credit is not mine.
The credit goes to all of the association and in particular to Francis and Wolves. Franz
I already mentioned (but did not speak enough) Wolves do not.
A member and works with our other members. It deals with numbers, accounts and, as I say, is accurate, precise, methodical.
fell in love with a project covered by the next post and, in addition to financing, is in charge of keeping in order our disorder. He does not will never be grateful enough for that.

But back the subject of the post.
The March 18 meeting there was the seed of a smile. In addition to a summary of the project, degree progress and new projects on the way, were given the figures of the 2008 budget.
Between these two I put in the original chart.

speaks for itself, no?

In genere tutti urlano.
Instead, he mixes and do not see more, hear only the click of the machine.
She took all afternoon. In the evening, before leaving, all children are given a sandwich with cream and jam or juice.
's not much but it's more of what awaits them at home, home for those who have it. One of the things
pù poignant is seeing girls who wrapped the sandwich in their shorts to take him home to his family.
The bread of life in this case is literal.
Well, in the evening all the children received their sandwich. We of course, no bread, is for children. Vico in the middle of the yard and a child, five, maybe less, maybe more, va incontro, divide il panino e glielo offre.
Noi gelati, Vico occhi umidi.
Io quando ci penso ho i brividi. Immagino lui.

Colors That Accent Shaker Beige

Mario

I suoi meriti li trovate on line.

Non la fa pesare anzi, ti is fun and you put them there, elegantly.

Mario is elegant when he speaks, as she moves. He has eyes that laugh and talk to you even when he is silent.
forward Mario Faith. The forward also to an agnostic like me, it exudes faith and not necessarily the Catholic faith, faith in life, faith, faith in the improvement in what they do, faith in men.
Never heard to speak ill of someone, rather than abstain.

A day with him and regeneration, not only in spirit, sophisticated gourmand (I have always doubted the ascetics, General Tricarico, which is not any, once at the table said, "always keep an eye on non-drinkers: those who write anonymous letters ":-D) and dangerous guest: a lunch with him can degenerate from the point of triglycerides.
Every time I hear it, I want to do even more.
E 'therapy that I recommend to anyone.

Now I'm already three years since I saw him. I always call before leaving for Africa, a small ritual that is repeated annually. If you do not call him, does not seem to go home.

Ontario Car Car Plates

Conto alla rovescia

little lacking.

Next week we will know when the shipment is expected in 2009, I would say about the end of May.
This is nice, at least for me.
later this year will be a little 'more sad on the one hand, given the end of Casa Azul, on the other exciting because ci sono dei progetti interessanti, sia dal lato umanitario che dal lato organizzativo.

ancora sette giorni, ancora sette giorni.

Can Dogs Get Herpes On Their Mouths

Janela de Esperança

Nome Progetto: Janela de Esperança
Partner Locale: Cooperativa Bela Baja
Responsabile Locale: Silasi Muageja
Soci Coinvolti: Giorgio, Marco
Inizio Collaborazione: 2008

Illudersi leave everything as it was is mere fantasy. How to do it, it's all another story.

As I wrote, women especially in Africa, have a higher gear, Silas is the exception.
The eye is intelligent, has no yellow halos typical signal of alcohol, is passionate, has adopted two children growing up with her children. It is also the youngest manager of a cooperative of carvers of wood, shall be investigated. And it shows.
For the first time a club has presented a business plan.
Goals, means, program, costs (including cutting out its role, as it should be, given its involvement) and brought it in writing, calligraphy and an order that I envy you very much.

Before talking about the project, it is better to explain a bit 'on what Makonde art.
Meanwhile, we must know that the Mozambican Makonde are a tribe and a tribe all but a warlike tribe. Proud, reliable, have started the uprising that led to the decolonization of Mozambique, the only case in the north, are Christians in a land that is predominantly Muslim. Historical enemies of the Masai from the north, estimated them as enemies to the point that the doors of huts put two statues of the Masai warrior Masai woman and to protect the house (so Christians, but with some contamination ;-))
In addition that the ferocity in fighting, the Makonde are known to have developed a style in wood processing, in particular Ebony (sigh) very recognizable and refined, considered one of the most elegant forms of art sub-Saharan Africa.

back to the project. Viewed
tourism development, the market for souvenirs began to be economically significant. As it says Silasi "Makonde art took me from poverty" and like him, who has talent in this field, is not going far better than average. Hence the idea of selecting children who had shown a particular aptitude, to ensure their attendance at school (which is not how to say it), to ensure a meal mezzogiorno e poi, al pomeriggio, imparare l'arte dell'intaglio.

Piccola digressione sulle "famiglie".
I like to think Muindi like a family where everyone is a seed that follows her smile but where all contribute to a common ideal.

Anarkali Churidar Cuttings

Mal d'Africa 2

If you can explain, it is not Jazz.

Paola Lombardi says it's hard to explain the Mal d'Africa.
right.
I think that the difficulty in defining it lies in its lightness.

Calvino wrote that the light should not be confused with superficiality. Here, the light should not be confused with the delicacy. The sickness in Africa is violent manifestation, such as land. Only
that is undefined, it has a definite shape, a specific symptom. Varies continuously maintaining a constant mild illness. It 'a lot of jazz.

I began to appear about a month after your return. The first month and you're keen, let's face it, the comforts you win. But then he begins this strange feeling.
Every time you turn around you see a wall. There is always a fence that prevents me.
So begins the languor, light and deep.
The light is not good, the air is not good the sky is not good. Not bad, just not going well.

are now almost three in the morning, insomnia is a disease of the family. To pass the time reading, writing and listening to music.
In particular there was a very old song by De André "baroque clouds." Prompted me to write this post. What has to do a song of a Ligurian Ligurian written by another (one of the few not written by Faber) with a sore of Africa is all to understand.

Perhaps it is this nostalgia for Africa. When you find the Africa even where there is not. It 's a question, as it were, of ... Love?

Sleepytime Tea Does It Work?

Casa Azul

Project Name: Casa Azul
Local Partner: Lar de Esperança
Local Manager: Laura Pierino , Teresa de Jesus
Location: Pemba (Alto neighborhood Gingone)
Beneficiaries: Children with hydrocephalus or severe disability

Per noi è was the first and certainly one of the most moving. The most vulnerable are the most tremendous win any significant resistance. Those children have given us much more than we gave them.
They gave us a name, they gave us a mission.
Laura and Teresa made us come into their home and allowed us to help. They are two extraordinary women. Their mission had already been in, we had to go there to find it.
As I wrote in first post today and closes the project is incorporated into another structure that these two amazing women have been able to organize and manage the local involvement and accountability. Some some of their but their projects have failed, with admirable constancy do not give up and go forward.
They have given up everything, you can not even imagine the effort to convince them to have a cell phone. They sleep in the same huts, eat the same food. Every so often share the malaria. Yet they are always the sun.
Thanks Teresa, thanks Laura, we hope to be helpful again.

This project has been through all and survived. Not even the fall of a baobab tree on the structure was able to stop it, with commitment and funds has evolved and changed. If you see it today the structure is greatly improved. To eliminate

Oscars Dinner Buffet How Much?

I semi

Meglio chiarire un concetto: la nostra organizzazione è venuta dopo, i primi tre anni i soci fondatori mettevano personalmente mano al portafoglio e senza agevolazione or relief, gave his own. Nor is the tax advantage, however, is that important, reason Seeds smile.
The real reason is that in order to operate legally, with a minimum of credibility, it needed a legal form and the non-profit organization recognized for this purpose, that's fine.

Another point I would like to emphasize is that, although there are many people who direct their contributions through income tax returns (and what you can do with these contributions that later), prefers to work at Seeds of Smiles " closed projects "or projects that have a plan, objectives, and possibly measurable only at a later time you search for funders / contributors.
This mode of operation allows to refer to acquaintances, friends or simply people with whom we come into contact and who want to participate, knowing in advance what will be the time or financial commitment that will have to make.
The commitment of the association is to provide logistics, information and, if it should occur a failure, replace the benefactor until his replacement is on a permanent basis. Other

commitment Seed Smile is to select projects, which is not trivial there. Because of things to do there are many, but people trusted by our standards a bit 'less.
In fact one of the big problems to work in Africa is precisely the difference in weight that some factors in our culture and theirs. The time, effort, the relativity of things. Who does not understand this will have major problems in Africa, the great frustrations of the liver and severe pain.
One example: the weather.
The premises have the concept of time as us but a fundamental difference is the temporal vision of themselves. We are able to think of us in a year, they, on average, no. And this, if one includes investments that will benefit from one or two years is a matter of no small importance. Why always prefer the little immediate benefit rather than wait for a bigger one. The male
span is about 3 months (randomly picked).

What's Your Real Age Orangeshark.com

Tutte le mattine penso all'Africa.

Today we laugh over while we were there, we laughed a bit 'less. We laughed
just waiting for the plane we would have to return to Pemba (God bless the satellite phone). We laughed a little flying at night over a lighted by flames Mozambique (hundreds of fires) we laughed a little when landing is not 50 meters from the ground throughout the city the power off all of a sudden the lights that lit up the track and certainly I have no rice I entered the hospital at the same time another incident, a bit 'bigger than ours: he had a truck overturned. The problem is that trucks, given the shortage of vehicles, when not carrying land, transporting people and that had an enclosed box with about fifty people.
I will spare you the scene. Remember me for long.

Today we laugh over, fantasizing about the real work of the improvised pilot, and the good fortune to be left almost completely full.
Meanwhile, we learned a lesson: Africa will not forgive anything, so always check at least thrice. Equipment, news and information. Never good to take what you say, always check it, no matter the degree of your party, check. This is true for our projects. Finding people so that a constant guide, because if you do not control, everything disappears under the eyes. All

morning, my back reminds me of Africa, and reminds me to check.

Belly Button Hurts After C-section

ilha de mozambique

Ok, less romance.

Ilha de Mozambique. Worth the trip.
It 's the old capital of the country.
Disgraced after decolonization, now reborn through tourism.
get there by land is easy, a few hours of jeeps ('s not random, always at least 2 machines in Africa. Autogrill and SOS are not covered) and you come to a bridge to one lane. Nothing serious, is the only access to the island (Ilha).
becomes more serious when one considers that the bridge is 3 kilometers long and that the cars must travel to reach the synchronized platforms placed at regular intervals that allow you to pull over and pass those coming in the opposite direction. If we are wrong, are worthy of hours of scripted comedy Neapolitan of the good times.
If the guard who gives the signal for departure had been right, if you traveled at the speed right and if they let you get to the exit, pay the entrance fee and take the only road leading to the white part of ' island. To the right and the left is the world.
Let's figure out what happened on the island. The road was eventually transformed into an elevated because the island is made in two areas: not being able to carry the materials from the mainland, to the sides of the road is carved limestone (Ex corals, probably) to make the bricks of the houses of white settlers. Dig dig, you have passed the three-meter and in that space did the black part of the island, the village is in the basement and on the road that leads to the Portuguese.
There are beautiful buildings, ruined and occupied for decades. Neglect not typical of local remove the magnificence, the island should be wonderful if you were white and armed. There
find delightful small hotels is a joke, some run by Italian chefs and often do not look out of place in any city.
Yet the buildings are not very many, lack of matter.

Matter found the going a bit 'below, you can not not to see: Fortaleza Sao Sebastiao is tough, imposing, half-island is within its walls. Go through the ramparts, the parade, visit the stands, water tanks. You will also see the Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Baluarte, considered the oldest building in equatorial Africa where it is buried the first bishop of Japan (yes, the Portuguese and with them the Jesuits to go to Japan, made stopovers in Mozambique, that could explain why it is said katana knife in Mozambique).

Then you'll see two things that make your hair stand on his head.
One is a deep pit 3 to 4 feet long and ten. Historical digression: the Portuguese, took the place of the Arabs in 1500, but the waters were infested by pirates, and not Islamic.
Piracy was not seen very well and hunts the robbers were taking place with regular frequency. Not that the Pirates were the shins of a saint, but if you take them alive, throwing them into the pit. Rain, sun (two years ago touched the 56 degrees), little food and were provided with sofraffollamento transform men into a zombie, who slaughtered animals for the waste that the soldiers hurled. Those who survived, was extracted after a 6 - 12 months when he was a judge in Portugal, considered pro forma, led behind the fortress, shot in a kind of theater, an ancient substitute for television and threw into the sea that sharks must live. Amen.

The second thing is a picture of opening: what you see on the bottom is the remains of a jetty at high tide when the vessel docked. On that pier have passed thousands of slaves.
Ehhh yeah, here is revealed the mystery: Ilha de Mozambique was an isolated station, where he concentrated the free labor of the Portuguese empire. Arab slave traders and Bantu, yes, slavery was common among blacks, bring their goods and, when they were loaded on ships, they, too, received as compensation the Pearl of Africa : glass beads, today sought souvenirs were the currency of exchange. Glass against life, an idea of the value.

No, much of Africa is not a country of compromise. Beauty, violence, elegance and ferocity have been and are to this day no half measures. We must always keep him in the head, when it comes to that land.

The Cheese To My Macaroni Sayings

Pemba, questa sconosciuta

Or better ex unknown.

Five years ago it was a destination for tourists outside the box, today's Quirimbas Islands, heartbreakingly beautiful, make it the ideal place for those who want to vacation "Blue Lagoon's style" but with all the comfort of five stars.

If you search on the net Pemba, almost certainly ended up on an island in Tanzania. If you use Google earth and used as the key to Pemba, Mozambique will send you in a small town in the center of the country. What do you want, do not have imagination with the names there. To find
put Porto Amelia, old name of the city before decolonization. Maybe Google are nostalgic.

If you have persevered and did you get then, Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the third largest bay in the world, one year and protected by UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The city is spread on the peninsula below. the estimate is about one hundred and fifty thousand people, the registry is literally an option in the sense that if you want, at eighteen, you go and register if not, is not important.
If we exclude the Portuguese colonial buildings and concrete barracks in the socialist period (Mozambique still has a Kalashnikov on bandiera) la popolazione vive in capanne di fango e pietre.
The intrinsic resistance of the population, culture, hidden evil instead of cure, and the hospital is changing slowly or non-profit organization operating in more and more people are on site.
being led by a flourishing tourism is making small local businesses with a rain fall of economic benefits on the population.
If I said to Pemba's tough life, frankly I would be lying. Pemba rises. As yet not known, but growing. Phones, cars, computers. Even today, in contrast to the streets in land or houses in mud. But less and less. The streets begin to pave the houses begin to be masonry. Pemba began to take the form of a city with almost European standards. But before the African tropical beaches and the sea and behind a breathtaking land. That helps.

No matter what you did in the day, the sunset over the bay that repays you for everything.

Pokemon Emerald Infinite Money Mac

Mal d'Africa

The pain of Africa is bad overall.

Like all complex things can be decomposed into simpler parts MA alone would describe the collection.
And the collection is an ugly beast.

Coward. The pain of Africa is a coward, do not you head on, I worked in slowly. And when you realize it's late, you will not want to leave more.
Are you sick and happy.

Ingredients Duncan Hi

Perché il Mozambico?

by chance. O almost.

Turning to Africa I wanted to apply what I learned at the master (or I should have) in a non-profit project.
The idea for the camper / operating room was not a doctor but I have known for years. The idea was there, but where to? I mean, Africa is big, very big. And with so many different issues. Often repeat themselves, but to be more effective and better circumscribe the area and study needs.
So I traveled. South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia. Please, I admit, but as I listened to the lions and touched the heavens, I spoke with the directors of the camps where I was applying the concept of asking and let him speak. Six out of six indicators
Mozambique. Excellent segno.

Well, easy, Mozambique. He referred me to
Sant'Egidio.

What is this? is an Italian miracle. An association of Catholic extraordinary, born from the districts of Rome a few decades ago and now operates worldwide. Thanks to them, ended one of the bloodiest civil wars in Africa. The peace agreement signed in Rome between the factions of Renamo and Frelimo is on them. Who are Frelimo and Renamo? Easily the two parties in Mozambique.
Just because I do not want to enter in large organizations, if not, try S. Egidio.
The beginning was not encouraging, much suspicion, then a direct line through an acquaintance and a meeting with Mario Marazziti. But Mario deserves a post all to himself.

Intanto c'erano due donne a dirigerlo, Laura e Teresa, extraordinary beings, and if it is true that women often have a higher gear in Africa (with few exceptions) are the only ones that have a march.
Second, because going into that center a child with a head as big as a basketball match and we crawl smiled.
That child is no longer a child. His name Muindi. He was born condemned to a premature end and an outcast from life. The first condition is fulfilled, the second is not. Muindi of quality of life was more than fair. He died after she died her playmate. The last wish a cake. He has had and is gone.
Muindi is no longer a child, is a mission. Everything is easier when you have a mission.

Today, the center closes, there are too many dead all together.
Mind you, there is no hope for them, we can only give him dignity and a cake, but this time they are off together and then there are "evil spirits" and children do not wear them anymore.
learning center for children with no children does not make sense, no? But the mission is not over, turns. In Africa must take the form of water.
